The team's plans for Curiosity checkout included raising the rover's mast and continued testing of its high-gain antenna, whose pointing toward Earth will be adjusted on Sol 2. Science data was collected from Curiosity's Radiation Assessment Detector, and activities were performed with the Rover Environmental Monitoring Station instrument. Curiosity transmitted its first color image from the surface of Mars, from the Mars Hand Lens Imager, or MAHLI, showing part of the north rim of Gale Crater. Additional calibration images were received from Curiosity's Navcam and Mastcam. That calibration test did not work as planned, but NASA said the REMS team was taking a look at the instruments parameters and expects to correct it soon. All systems are go for deployment of the rover's remote sensing mast on Sol 2, followed by a 360-degree pan by the rover's Navcam. The Mastcam will also be calibrated against a target image on the rover. NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter returned a spectacular image of Curiosity's landing site, depicting the rover, parachute, back shell, heat shield and descent stage. Data were received from both NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and Mars Odyssey. The image above shows the location (green) where scientists estimate NASA's Curiosity rover landed on Mars within Gale Crater, based on images from the Mars Descent Imager (MARDI). The landing estimates derived from navigation and landing data agree to within 660 feet (200 meters) of this MARDI estimate. Possiblity of Life on Satrun's moon 'Enceladus'

In 2011, NASA's Cassini spacecraft discovered the best evidence yet for a large-scale saltwater reservoir beneath the icy crust of Saturn's moon Enceladus. The data came from the spacecraft's direct analysis of salt-rich ice grains close to the jets ejected from the moon. "This finding is a crucial new piece of evidence showing that environmental conditions favorable to the emergence of life can be sustained on icy bodies orbiting gas giant planets," according to Nicolas Altobelli, the European Space Agency's project scientist for Cassini. Data from Cassini's cosmic dust analyzer show the grains expelled from fissures, known as tiger stripes, are relatively small and predominantly low in salt far away from the moon. But closer to the moon's surface, Cassini found that relatively large grains rich with sodium and potassium dominate the plumes. The salt-rich particles have an "ocean-like" composition and indicate that most, if not all, of the expelled ice and water vapor comes from the evaporation of liquid salt water. The findings appear in this week's issue of the journal Nature. "There currently is no plausible way to produce a steady outflow of salt-rich grains from solid ice across all the tiger stripes other than salt water under Enceladus's icy surface," said Frank Postberg, a Cassini team scientist at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and the lead author on the paper. When water freezes, the salt is squeezed out, leaving pure water ice behind. If the plumes emanated from ice, they should have very little salt in them. The Cassini mission discovered Enceladus' water-vapor and ice jets in 2005. In 2009, scientists working with the cosmic dust analyzer examined some sodium salts found in ice grains of Saturn's E ring, the outermost ring that gets its material primarily from Enceladean jets. But the link to subsurface salt water was not definitive. The new paper analyzes three Enceladus flybys in 2008 and 2009 with the same instrument, focusing on the composition of freshly ejected plume grains. The icy particles hit the detector target at speeds between 15,000 and 39,000 mph (23,000 and 63,000 kilometers per hour), vaporizing instantly. Electrical fields inside the cosmic dust analyzer separated the various constituents of the impact cloud. The data suggest a layer of water between the moon's rocky core and its icy mantle, possibly as deep as about 50 miles (80 kilometers) beneath the surface. As this water washes against the rocks, it dissolves salt compounds and rises through fractures in the overlying ice to form reserves nearer the surface. If the outermost layer cracks open, the decrease in pressure from these reserves to space causes a plume to shoot out. Roughly 400 pounds (200 kilograms) of water vapor is lost every second in the plumes, with smaller amounts being lost as ice grains. The team calculates the water reserves must have large evaporating surfaces, or they would freeze easily and stop the plumes. Cassini's ultraviolet imaging spectrograph also recently obtained complementary results that support the presence of a subsurface ocean. A team of Cassini researchers led by Candice Hansen of the Planetary Science Institute in Tucson, Ariz., measured gas shooting out of distinct jets originating in the moon's south polar region at five to eight times the speed of sound, several times faster than previously measured. These observations of distinct jets, from a 2010 flyby, are consistent with results showing a difference in composition of ice grains close to the moon's surface and those that made it out to the E ring. That paper was published in the June 9 issue of Geophysical Research Letters. "Without an orbiter like Cassini to fly close to Saturn and its moons -- to taste salt and feel the bombardment of ice grains -- scientists would never have known how interesting these outer solar system worlds are," said Linda Spilker, NASA's Cassini project scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative project of NASA, the European Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency. The mission is managed by JPL for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington. JPL is a division of the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena.

« 'Seeds' of Milky Way's Supermassive Black Hole Discovered | Main July 21, 2012 The Rivers of Saturn's Titan --"A Weirdly Earth-like Place" In 2004, the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft — a probe that flies by Titan as it orbits Saturn — penetrated Titan’s orange haze, providing scientists with their first detailed images of the surface. Radar images revealed an icy terrain carved out over millions of years by rivers of liquid methane, similar to how rivers of water have etched into Earth’s rocky continents. While images of Titan have revealed its present landscape, very little is known about its geologic past. Now researchers at MIT and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville have analyzed images of Titan’s river networks and determined that in some regions, rivers have created surprisingly little erosion. The researchers say there are two possible explanations: either erosion on Titan is extremely slow, or some other recent phenomena may have wiped out older riverbeds and landforms. “It’s a surface that should have eroded much more than what we’re seeing, if the river networks have been active for a long time,” says Taylor Perron, the Cecil and Ida Green Assistant Professor of Geology at MIT. “It raises some very interesting questions about what has been happening on Titan in the last billion years.” “It’s a weirdly Earth-like place, even with this exotic combination of materials and temperatures,” Perron says. “And so you can still say something definitive about the erosion. It’s the same physics.” Compared to most moons in our solar system, Titan is relatively smooth, with few craters pockmarking its facade. Titan is around four billion years old, about the same age as the rest of the solar system. But judging by the number of craters, one might estimate that its surface is much younger, between 100 million and one billion years old. What might explain this moon’s low crater count? Perron says the answer may be similar to what happens on Earth. * “We don’t have many impact craters on Earth,” Perron says. “People flock to them because they’re so few, and one explanation is that Earth’s continents are always eroding or being covered with sediment. That may be the case on Titan, too.” For example, plate tectonics, erupting volcanoes, advancing glaciers and river networks have all reshaped Earth’s surface over billions of years. On Titan, similar processes — tectonic upheaval, icy lava eruptions, erosion and sedimentation by rivers — may be at work. But identifying which of these geological phenomena may have modified Titan’s surface is a significant challenge. Images generated by the Cassini spacecraft, similar to aerial photos but with much coarser resolution, are flat, depicting terrain from a bird’s-eye perspective, with no information about a landform’s elevation or depth. “It’s an interesting challenge,” Perron says. “It’s almost like we were thrown back a few centuries, before there were many topographic maps, and we only had maps showing where the rivers are.” Perron and MIT graduate student Benjamin Black set out to determine the extent to which river networks may have renewed Titan’s surface. The team analyzed images taken from Cassini-Huygens, and mapped 52 prominent river networks from four regions on Titan. The researchers compared the images with a model of river network evolution developed by Perron. This model depicts the evolution of a river over time, given variables such as the strength of the underlying material and the rate of flow through the river channels. As a river erodes slowly through the ice, it transforms from a long, spindly thread into a dense, treelike network of tributaries. Black compared his measurements of Titan’s river networks with the model, and found the moon’s rivers most resembled the early stages of a typical terrestrial river’s evolution. The observations indicate that rivers in some regions have caused very little erosion, and hence very little modification of Titan’s surface. “They’re more on the long and spindly side,” Black says. “You do see some full and branching networks, and that’s tantalizing, because if we get more data, it will be interesting to know whether there really are regional differences.”* Going a step further, Black compared Titan’s images with recently renewed landscapes on Earth, including volcanic terrain on the island of Kauai and recently glaciated landscapes in North America. The river networks in those locations are similar in form to those on Titan, suggesting that geologic processes may have reshaped the moon’s icy surface in the recent past. Nearby Mars-Sized Exo-Planet Discovered Orbiting a Red Dwar The University of Central Florida has detected what could be its first planet, only two-thirds the size of Earth and located right around the corner, cosmically speaking, at a mere 33 light- years away. The exoplanet candidate called UCF 1.01, is close to its star, orbiting the star in 1.4 days. The planet's surface likely reaches temperatures of more than 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The discoverers believe that it has no atmosphere, is only two-thirds the gravity of Earth and that its surface may be volcanic or molten. "We have found strong evidence for a very small, very hot and very close-by planet with the help of the Spitzer Space Telescope," said Kevin Stevenson, a recent Ph.D graduate from the UCF and lead author of the paper, which appears online tomorrow in The Astrophysical Journal. "This discovery is a significant accomplishment for UCF." Stevenson and his colleagues were studying a hot-Neptune exoplanet, designated GJ 436b, already known to exist around the red-dwarf star GJ 436, when data revealed clues that led them to suspect there could be at least one new planet in that system, perhaps two. The team noticed slight dips in the amount of infrared light streaming from the star. A review of Spitzer archival data showed that the dips were periodic, suggesting that a planet might be blocking out a small fraction of light as it passed in front of GJ 436, as seen from Earth. * "I could see these faint dips in the starlight and I wanted to determine their source. I knew that if these signals were periodic, they could be from an unknown planet," said Stevenson, who is now a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago. So he, UCF planetary sciences professor Joseph Harrington and UCF graduate student Nate Lust began looking at the data. They sifted through hundreds of hours of observations collected from Spitzer, the Deep Impact spacecraft, the ground-based Very Large Telescope in Chile and the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope near the summit of Mauna Kea in Hawaii. This transit technique, used by a number of telescopes, including NASA's Kepler space telescope, relies on these tiny, partial eclipses to find exoplanet candidates. Spitzer has performed science work on known exoplanets before, but UCF-1.01 represents the first time Spitzer has made a transit discovery. With the finding of UCF-1.01, GJ 436 is likely now home to the first multi-transiting-planet system described by a mission other than Kepler. Of the 1,800 stars identified by Kepler as candidates for having planetary systems, only three are verified to contain sub-Earth size exoplanets. The depth and duration of a transit reveals basic properties of an exoplanet, such as its size and distance from a host star. In UCF-1.01's case, its diameter is estimated at 5,200 miles, or two-thirds that of Earth, placing the world among the smallest on record. The team also noticed hints of yet another potential planet dubbed UCF-1.02, but its period was impossible to estimate. So why aren't scientists calling UCF-1.01 a planet? A measured mass is needed to verify that these objects are planets, but even the most sensitive instruments currently available are unable to measure exoplanet masses this small. "Despite the lack of a confirmed mass, the team is confident future observations will verify our findings," Harrington said. "I hope future observations will confirm these exciting results, which show Spitzer may be able to discover exoplanets as small as Mars," said Michael Werner, Spitzer Project Scientist at JPL. "Even after almost nine years in space, Spitzer's observations continue to take us in new and important scientific directions." Journal reference: Astrophysical Journal

Supernovae Alert

Each century, about two massive stars in our own galaxy explode, producing magnificent supernovae. In the Universe at large, a supernova event occurs every second. Astrophysicists at the level of Stephen Hawking believe that these massive explosions may be resonsible for killing off advanced civilization --a major factor perhaps in the "Great Silence" of the Fermi Paradox. These stellar explosions send fundamental, uncharged particles called neutrinos streaming our way and generate ripples called gravitational waves in the fabric of space-time. Scientists are waiting for the neutrinos and gravitational waves from about 1000 supernovae that have already exploded at distant locations in the Milky Way to reach us. On Earth, large, sensitive neutrino and gravitational-wave detectors have the ability to detect these respective signals, which will provide information about what happens in the core of collapsing massive stars just before they explode. If we are to understand that data, however, scientists will need to know in advance how to interpret the information the detectors collect. To that end, researchers at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) have found via computer simulation what they believe will be an unmistakable signature of a feature of such an event: if the interior of the dying star is spinning rapidly just before it explodes, the emitted neutrino and gravitational-wave signals will oscillate together at the same frequency. "We saw this correlation in the results from our simulations and were completely surprised," says Christian Ott, an assistant professor of theoretical astrophysics at Caltech and the lead author on a paper describing the correlation, which appears in the current issue of the journal Physical Review D. "In the gravitational-wave signal alone, you get this oscillation even at slow rotation. But if the star is very rapidly spinning, you see the oscillation in the neutrinos and in the gravitational waves, which very clearly proves that the star was spinning quickly—that's your smoking-gun evidence." Scientists do not yet know all the details that lead a massive star—one that is at least 10 times as massive as the Sun—to become a supernova. What they do know (which was first hypothesized by Caltech astronomer Fritz Zwicky and his colleague Walter Baade in 1934) is that when such a star runs out of fuel, it can no longer support itself against gravity's pull, and the star begins to collapse in upon itself, forming what is called a proto-neutron star. They also now know that another force, called the strong nuclear force, takes over and leads to the formation of a shock wave that begins to tear the stellar core apart. But this shock wave is not energetic enough to completely explode the star; it stalls part way through its destructive work. There needs to be some mechanism—what scientists refer to as the "supernova mechanism"—that completes the explosion. But what could revive the shock? Current theory suggests several possibilities. Neutrinos could do the trick if they were absorbed just below the shock, re-energizing it. The proto-neutron star could also rotate rapidly enough, like a dynamo, to produce a magnetic field that could force the star's material into an energetic outflow, called a jet, through its poles, thereby reviving the shock and leading to explosion. It could also be a combination of these or other effects. The new correlation Ott's team has identified provides a way of determining whether the core's spin rate played a role in creating any detected supernova. It would be difficult to glean such information from observations using a telescope, for example, because those provide only information from the surface of the star, not its interior. Neutrinos and gravitational waves, on the other hand, are emitted from inside the stellar core and barely interact with other particles as they zip through space at the speed of light. That means they carry unaltered information about the core with them. The ability neutrinos have to pass through matter, interacting only ever so weakly, also makes them notoriously difficult to detect. Nonetheless, neutrinos have been detected: twenty neutrinos from Supernova 1987a in the Large Magellanic Cloud were detected in February 1987. If a supernova went off in the Milky Way, it is estimated that current neutrino detectors would be able to pick up about 10,000 neutrinos. In addition, scientists and engineers now have detectors—such as the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory, or LIGO, a collaborative project supported by the National Science Foundation and managed by Caltech and MIT—in place to detect and measure gravitational waves for the first time. Ott's team happened across the correlation between the neutrino signal and the gravitational-wave signal when looking at data from a recent simulation. Previous simulations focusing on the gravitational-wave signal had not included the effect of neutrinos after the formation of a proto-neutron star. This time around, they wanted to look into that effect. "To our big surprise, it wasn't that the gravitational-wave signal changed significantly," Ott says. "The big new discovery was that the neutrino signal has these oscillations that are correlated with the gravitational-wave signal." The correlation was seen when the proto-neutron star reached high rotational velocities—spinning about 400 times per second. Future simulation studies will look in a more fine-grained way at the range of rotation rates over which the correlated oscillations between the neutrino signal and the gravitational-wave signal occur. Hannah Klion, a Caltech undergraduate student who recently completed her freshman year, will conduct that research this summer as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) student in Ott's group. When the next nearby supernova occurs, the results could help scientists elucidate what happens in the moments right before a collapsed stellar core explodes. Most of the computations were completed on the Zwicky Cluster in the Caltech Center for Advanced Computing Research. Ott built the cluster with a grant from the National Science Foundation. It is supported by the Sherman Fairchild Foundation. The image below shows the inner regions of a collapsing, rapidly spinning massive star. Half Way There (Dec 21, 2012)

Hello, i know its been a long time since my last post as I've been dealing with some personal issues, now here we are over halfway to the supposed end date of our civilization, i'm no prophet by a long shot but i can say without a doubt we as a people have changed, we live in a world where people will walk around a dying person in the street and i think that is very sad, there is nothing humane about humanity anymore!! So should this be the year the world comes to a end i will surely welcome it with open arms, look around people, we have become selfish uncaring animals, we only care about our selves, now you may disagree but your only in denial because when push comes to shove we will save ourselves without regret for the person who is dying next to us, i am ashamed and you should be too, so with this i say let god wipe this planet clean of all humanity, we no longer deserve this once beautiful world that we were created on, stop and think long and hard because the truth hurts and i am ready for the pain to go away, God Bless All of you.

Who's Right About 2012

Hello everyone, hope your doing fine, i wanted to talk a little about all the confusing information we have been getting about the events that are suppose to take place this year. i would start by saying that the media,books, large movies have taken advantage of this period in time to make Billions of dollars just like they do when they find a niche we all will buy into, you may think i make money off of this, well the truth is i haven't made one cent, it has cost me money, so yesterday i'm on Nasa's home page and they state they have been investigating this 2012 phenomenon and have concluded that main stream scientist believe this years will have its surprises but will be no different than any other year, yes we could get hit by a asteroid, yes world war could destroy mankind and yes our planet is going thru changes in which it has always been for 4 billion years, if not for change we would not be here, my father always told me to believe nothing you hear and half of what you see, well i see that the weather is changing, yesterday it was 90 today it 50, are winter was very short, at least in my home state of Michigan, we had no spring and i cant tell you what the hell is going on with our weather now, for all i know it may snow tomorrow, i'm not quite sure if the world will end this year and i think its impossible to predict something like that, what i do know is that people have changed, the weather has changed, my life has changed and not for the better, so if anyone would like to leave comments or post something, please do, come back soon and often to read more, hence i say to you, keep your eyes and ears open and remember to look up every now and then, you never now what you might see... Hello, just another quick reminder that one of the most important thing we all need to survive is water, and whether your stocking because you may believe the end is near or whether the next storm that come thru is going to cut off your supply of clean water, so if you haven't already, its time to stock up on drinking water, plan on having at least 3 days to a weeks worth set aside and make sure you allow for 2 gallons of water for each person for each day and then get 10 to 20 gallons extra, i think this is a good to follow, so you have to make some planning as to how much water your going to keep on hand just in case of a emergency, and always go 10 to 20 gallons extra per day, as this could be used to barter with someone who has something you need. I also think it a good idea to have non-perishable food stores, such as canned for or M.R.E 'but i believe should anything happen, especial around the urban areas, food will be available somewhere, still it is good to have a week or two of food stored up for the members of your family or group, i know i'm pointing out the obvious, but it doesn't hurt to reminds people and my self that now is the time to do these things whether 2012 Dc 21, is just another day or not, its is agreed upon by mainstream scientist's that the next 10 years are going to be hotter and have more extreme weather, heck, you only have to look outside to confirm that one.... thanks for your time and please leave your comments, tips, or post what you like, just keep it on the title of this site. Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by, sorry i haven't been posting new, so over the weekend i had plenty of time to think, and for some strange reason i started to think about the number 7, i believe i was watching the History Channel and it had a program on called "Clash of The Gods", and they spoke about the seven wonders of the world and i think this is why i have been obsessing over the number seven. I asked you to think about this number also and you will find our lives somewhat revolve around this number, first off there is of course "The Seven wonders of The World",then you have the "Seven Deadly Sins", The last "7" words that Jesus spoke before his passing on the cross,there is the "7" signs of the Apocalypse, Joshua in the bible marched his troops around the wall of Jericho with "7" trumpets blowing until the wall came down, you have "Luck 7", seven eleven, all of these don't necessarily have a impact on our lives, but we have "7" days a week, this is the one that most of us live our live by and around, it tells us when we have to work. when we have appointments, really when we have to do anything, our lives revolve around this number,but why, i guess we can say it goes back to biblical times but that would be a false statement, we have proof of past civilizations before the Bible was even written with there lives revolving around this magical number, so i just thought i would put that out there for you to stop and think about as you go about your day,yeah i know this post didn't stick to the theme of this blog, but you do have to admit that our lives revolve around this number, how we ever came about this I'm not quite sure, when i get the answer i will post it, in the mean time if any of you might think you know the answer, i asked you to please post your thoughts on this, until next time, keep your eyes and ears open, and don't forget to look up ever now and then, you never know what you might see, and please come back here soon and often to see whats new and to post your comments and questions etc.... "The suicide forest"

Hello everyone, once again the "History Channel" is exploiting the so called "2012 Phenomenon". So has anyone heard of this place? Well it is a fact that a region of japan near mount Fuji , there is a place the Japanese people call "The suicide Forest", now i have no idea how this forest is connected to "Ancient Aliens" but the History channel and "Ancient Astronauts Theorist" have made a link to this place where according to Japanese legend has drawn people into these dark Erie woodlands to commit suicide. The legend is said to go back thousands of years and continues to this day. Japanese Officials state that several hundred people a year are found dead after being drawn to this place, the most common way people die here is by hanging themselves from the trees deep inside this dark forest, and many other people have came there and have never been found, is this weird or what? Ancient Alien Marathon

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well, just a notice, "Ancient Aliens" marathon since 9am ,the "History Channel" is cashing in on the 2012 phenomenon, its a great market. They started this in late 2010 along with many other channels featuring programs on this subject. Why I Believe

Hello,first i would like to thank all those who have been visiting my blog, I Thank You for your time and interest. Now i would like to tell a little about me, well lets just stick to the post title for now, my life story would be a novel. My fascination with the universe is what began my whole belief's on the paranormal. I was very young maybe 9 or 10 when my curiosity about the stars sparked a fire in me that's burns as bright as it ever did. It was a hot muggy night in my home town, Detroit Michigan, i had been riding my skate board and was looking for satellites to come over, since i had seen them before quite often, i knew what to look for, i had went into my backyard to look at the star because the street lights in front made it quite hard, after about a hour or so of looking up at the night sky and wandering what was out there, just then i saw what i had assumed to be a satellite coming over the trees, i didn't think it was anything special until its was straight over head and came to a complete stop, this took me by surprise because it had just looked like one of the satellite's i had always seen, let me say this was in the early 70's, anyway this star like object had just stopped and i was taken back as it slowly became three points of light, one coming out each side, they stood still for a few seconds and then they started to move slowly into a v-type formation with one leading the other two slightly behind the point object, in a instant they increased speed and were gone. Now i don't know what i had seen that night, and i still don't know, but one thing is for sure i was in total awe, i was scared and excited, my adrenaline was pumping, this is the first time I've ever shared this with anyone, i knew nobody would believe me. That night started me on a quest to find out what exactly is out there,after that i had immersed myself into books like "The Cosmos" by the late Carl Sagan, and books by Isaac Azimuth, i was 10 years old and while my friends played ball at the school yard, i was reading about black holes and nebulae, to make this short, it was a life changing event that i still have trouble putting into words......Thank you, and come back soon and often, as i will continue with my story, so once again i say to you, keep your eyes and ears open, and don't forget to look up every now and then, you never know what you might see!!! Hello everyone, i hope everyone of question, " is there a god", I'm sure its a question most of us want to know, anyways , all the media talked about was doom and gloom, all the death and suffering from the current wars all over the world, and the senseless acts of violence locally and nation wide, and it made me think how sad god must be right now, disappointed that we as humans have come such a long way, and still we have not learned. God must wonder why we have created so many ways to kill each other, and then i thought back at history and noticed how just one man can change the entire world for the good or the bad. But i think he would also smile at the way we come together in times of horrible disasters.So it made me think, if i could get some of you to do one ruthless act of kindness a month, to help a stranger or a neighbor in need. I'm not saying you have to open up your bank account, if your like me, you live from paycheck to paycheck, so next time you sit down to a nice dinner or your relaxing on your couch watching the flat screen, just think for a minute how good you have it and then go out and do something good for someone, I'm sure "God" would be pleased, and better yet, your going to feel something so good that you will want to do more,or even tell your friends how warm it made you feel, so don't be shy, go out and spread the wealth. and know i leave you with this, keep your eyes and ears open, and comeback here and see whats new, or post a comment yourself, and don't forget to take a minuted to look up!! your never know what you might see........ Lincoln Park Police, Michigan

Hello, hope everyone is doing well, I'm going off the title of this blog to tell you a story and maybe get some feed back from any. Yesterday i took my son to get McDonald's to bring home and eat, after we got our food we went to the gas station 50 feet from my house to get pop, as we were leaving i side swipe a parked car only leaving a minor scratch that could be wipe off with a rag, anyways, i stopped to to the old switch info and leave like most normal people would do, first off the lady had said that the damage on her car was much more then a scratch, she then pointed to a large dent with rust on it, i said that's old, that's not from me,then my son came out of the car and wanted me to take him to my house so he could eat, i said to the lady i live in that house over there, let me get my sons food together and than we can exchange info, out of the blue she started dropping f bombs and calling me a drunk( i don't drink)in front of my son. So i put my son in the car and pointed to the lady where i would be, 5 minutes later i had 3 cop cars at my place doing there routine, to make a long story short. THE LINCOLN PARK POLICE gave me a ticket for leaving the scene of a accident, which is 6 points on your license, a DUI is only 3 points, did i do the right thing? post away please, i need to know why i now have to spend a grand on a lawyer so i don't get the 6 Pt's, which also give you a suspended license, maybe i should have gotten plaster and then get into a wreck, the fine would be less. Thank for letting me blow off some steam, leave your comments and if you can help, i would appreciate it.

Hello everyone, hope your all OK, so , back to the post title. I watch two interesting programs yesterday on the " Science Channel", no doubt there exploiting the "2012 Phenomenon" to the fullest, just like everyone else, anyways , maybe you watched them too(suckers like me) they were " into the universe" with the renowned Dr, Stephen Hawkins(excellent) and " N.a.s.a, The untold story"(good also). Both programs focused on aliens and u.f.o's, but i must say Dr.S. Hawkins was fabulous, we were able to hear his opinions, and the human side of him, which instead of his mechanical voice, a human voice took the place of his, bringing expression into him that I've never heard, he talked about his opinions on alien life and how he hopes that we will, one day make contact. He also said to the effect that life is likely not just in our own backyard, but the entire universe,it was very compelling, seems he believes contact is inevitable, and that alien contact may not go very well. The question arose that maybe we should not be broadcasting our existence and location because the reference to " it would be comparable to Columbus discovering America and that contact did not go well for the Indian's".. We all know how bad that encounter was for the "Native Americans", we our all were taught that in grade school. He said "we only need to look back at our own history", referring to the way humans have evolved to conquer and exploit every race and every raw material we can, to ensure the survival of our specie's. So this made me think, and my thinking lead to fear, i imagined a race of drifters, looking for raw material, to insure there species survival, because they had used all there natural resource's, think of it our way, eventually were going to need to go to other planets , to mine there raw materials, and maybe even colonize them, without a doubt, if our race wishes to exist thousands of years, we are going to need things like, ummmmmmmmmmmm, Water!!!!! and should we find a inhabited planet that has what we need or want, you know were going to take it,so a alien race coming to our planet, i think, would be a bad thing, as they would be more advanced, ,and possibly, more violent then us, could you imagine that? we would be toast.... if you have any comments or opinions on this , please post,,, and in the mean time, keep your eyes and ears open, and don't forget to look up, you never know what you might see, come back here and see whats new, or post yourself, have a wonderful day......

History channel

Hello, hope everyone is well today, just a quick note ,if your turn on your cable the"History Channel" has all there basis covered today as far as the 2012 market goes, both of their channels have "monsterquest" and "Nostradamus" programs on all day, so it seems they have 2012 and the paranormal phenomenons covered to make the maximum amount of dollars, i sure wish i could get a piece of that action, just thought i would let everyone know ( as is you care), so, until next post, keep your eyes and ears open, and when you get a chance, look up every know and then you never know what you might see, and come back and check out my post, or do some posting yourself, I'm always open to suggestions, new ideas, and any comments you may have, thanks for stopping by.... have a wonderful day......

Hubble Space Telescope U.FO. IMAGE

Hello, hows everyone tonite? I just thought i would show you a image taken by the "Hubble Space Telescope" on Jan-29-2010(if you already haven't seen it), It also appears that since then there have been a dramatic increase in u.f.o sightings, according to Peter Davenport, a c.n.n sciences corresponder and director of Washington's u.f.o center, he states in "the first two weeks of 2012 there were over a 113 reports and only rising". well to make this short, i added the photo of this object that the Hubble space telescope spotted and i will be posting more information on this story when i have all the facts, so until then, keep your eyes and ears open, and definitely look up every now and then, you never know what you may see, and also try to carry a good quality camera with you, just in case... so come back later and often to see what I've been posting and don't be afraid to do a little posting yourself, i'm open to all suggestions,comments and idea or fresh information.... The "Alaskan Triangle"

Hello, just found out some interesting information that i thought i would share with you. Apparently, just there is a "Bermuda Triangle" there is a "Alaskan Triangle", any of you have heard of this? If you have, this is new to me. Its called the "Devils Grave yard" , pretty spooky!!!! There appears to be a phenomenon that goes back thousands of years in which in compasses Barrow,Anchorage and Juneau Alaska. Its seem everything from planes ,boats, and people have been disappearing without a trace for quite some time. The "Native Alaskan Tribes" have past this folklore down for thousands of years. They say a "Evil Demon" lurks in these areas and is possibly a "Shape Shifter" who lures people into the woodlands,mountains and water, its is said this entity kills people in order to steal there souls and in slave them for all eternity, Wow!!!!, this is strange, anyways, i thought i would post this and do some more research on the web to find out what this is all about, so in the mean time , if anyone has heard of this ,please feel free to post about it, i'm going do some surfing and see who,what and where these claims come from, so come back later and i will have more information on this phenomenon...... Alien Moon Bases?

Hello, so hows everyone doing on this beautiful day, seems we skipped spring and jump right into to summer, i sure cant wait for those hot 100 degree plus days that are coming, anyways,back to the post title. Ive found a bunch of interesting pictures of what some say are "alien moon bases", i'm not quite sure what to believe on this one, either somebody is very good at photo shop or there real, i think there just natural structures but what do i know? so go ahead and "google alien moon base" like i did and come back and tell me what you think, whether there real or not, i have no clue, but i'm found them interesting and think you will too, so that's it for now, go ahead and post some comments or come back later, maybe i will have a little something more for you to read, until then, keep your eyes and ears open and don't forget to look up every now and then, you never know what you might see........sorry to do a spell check on this post so i'm updating it..................

Hello. how is everyone, My thoughts today turn to some article I've been seeing about "chem-trails",( google it and decide for your self)... Anyways , i started to watch some videos on YouTube about chem-trails vs contrails, a contrail, i'm sure most of you know, is condensation which forms behind a aircraft from there engines when they fly over a certain height(to be honest with you , i don't know the science behind it) chem-trails are what a aircraft dispels from their engine or nozzles placed on a aircraft such as a crop duster to fertilize,insect control or whatever they may choose to release in the air for whatever purpose they are using it for( agent orange) so today as I'm standing outside side working I'm my car under a beautiful blue cloudless day , i noticed some droplets( of water, i hope) start to hit my head and my car, at this point i was not thinking of chem-trails, my thoughts were to get my car running because i have a doctor appointment tomorrow, and i look up to see where these droplets are coming from, because there were no clouds, and guess what? two large passenger looking jets were flying over me towards Canada, almost side by side, one was ahead of the second about i would guess approximately three to five hundred feet apart, the second plane was off the right wing of the first and slightly behind it, and coming from there wings, not there engines( as it appeared to me) large contrails(chem-trails?) i couldn't believe my eyes, not having a camera, i knocked on my neighbors door and asked him to have a look, so he did, he then went and a grabbed one of those 10 dollar disposal cameras from his a apartment and use the last 3 remaining pictures on these jets flying over, he thought it looked quite unusual too, so now awaiting the development of his pictures and i will post them as soon as i get them on CD.... come back in a few hours and hopefully i will have the picture to show you.... thank you, and don't forget, keep you eye and ears open, look up every know and then and come back here and post away..

Today

Hello,as we go about our daily lives, work, bills, family time, etc....Time will definitely go on, whether this will be the year all humanity seizes to exist or not, time will surely continue,and what little each one of us contributes to life may not matter much on a individual basis ,what we do and why we are here only time will tell, just as we can look back and see what mankind or how one person may change the course of history we shall not know until the day is over,so if you may stop and think why does it matter what i do today,my life is small compared to the size and complexity not only of our world but the universe on a whole, each one of our lives do matter, and what we do today can and will reflect on what happens tomorrow,so if you get a chance today in your busy world, stop for a moment and think before you act, because what you do today will change without a doubt what can and will happen tomorrow..... just a thought,and that becomes a problem sometimes when all you do is think..... any comments,posts,ideas,anything you would like to share ,please do so... until next time...will there be a next time?

Just finished watching aliens the nasa connection, i thought it was okay, definitely not there best work, watch it and tell me what you think., im  So a little about me, im 46 with a lot of time on my hands, ive always loved science since i can remember and i always thought that the human race is part of

The star child..

Hello, just read some new info about the Star Child, is anyone familiar? I ve known about the star child skull for quite some years and have given it a little thought, apparently( for those who  haven't) a set of bones was found some time ago, a adult female and a adolocent, anyways the bones were carbon dated back aproxemately 900 years ago, no big deal right? unless  you've seen photos of the skull of the star child, which literaly looks quite alien, most main stream scientists  agreed that this skull was deformed either unpurpose or by disease,anyways ,to make a long story short, google "The Star Child" project and there you will find some quite interesting reading, i can't and won't even began to talk about its findings over a 12 year study, i don't claim to have a phd after my name, so to me its was very hard to understand, but i did read between the lines and get the message and i'm sure you will too, so go give it a look and comeback to post your comments........ i will give you the link, hope the auther doesnt mind..   oh, and by the way , if you have a buck or two to give, there asking for donations to continue their research, so help out if you can, if not, enjoy the articles anyway.....Thankscontact@starchildproject.com

Good afternoon, ive added a few more things for your viewing pleasure, hope you enjoy it. So lastnite i went out side and looked up, what did i see you ask? stars , planet alignments and a full moon(probably why my ex is act nuttier than ever).
